Chainsaw Training Courses by VS&R
Nationally accredited Forest Industry standard chainsaw maintenance, crosscutting, basic & intermediate tree falling is for anyone using saws in the workplace, including emergency people. Satisfies ‘duty of care’ requirements & a Statement of Attainment issued.
Non accredited chainsaw maintenance & cross cutting is for occasional non-professional users eg farmers, weekend firewood people – who would like to know the basics for maximum safety & efficiency.
You will learn how to confidently handle a saw & save money. No theory test, mostly practical work – Statement of Completion issued. Low numbers (maximum 4) gives you good practical time.
Who should do this?
- Anyone using chainsaws in the workplace
- Private people who want to use a chainsaw properly
- Photo ID & minimum 18 yr old
- Helmet with visor & ear muffs
- Lace up steel cap boots
- Chainsaw trousers (we supply if needed)
- Chainsaw (we supply if needed)
